Store Incharge

Store & Inventory Management

• Overall management of plant stores including raw materials, spares, consumables, packing materials, and capital items.
  
• Ensure optimum inventory levels through effective material planning and control to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  
• Conduct regular stock verification, reconciliation, and audits.
  
• Maintain proper storage, preservation, and identification of materials as per industry standards.
  

SAP & System Management

• End-to-end handling of

  SAP MM module

  including:
• Material master creation and maintenance
  
• Purchase requisitions, GRN, issue slips
  
• Inventory tracking and reporting
  
• Ensure accuracy and discipline in system entries and documentation.
  
• Coordinate with corporate IT/SAP teams for system improvements and troubleshooting.
  

Logistics & Dispatch

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics efficiently to support plant operations.
  
• Coordinate with transporters for timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
  
• Optimize logistics costs while ensuring service quality and safety compliance.
  

Local Purchasing

• Handle local procurement of urgent and routine materials as per company policies.
  
• Vendor identification, negotiation, rate comparison, and development.
  
• Ensure timely availability of materials at competitive prices.
  

Taxation & Compliance

• Strong working knowledge of

  GST

  , including documentation, invoice verification, and compliance.
• Ensure statutory compliance related to stores, logistics, and taxation.
  
• Coordinate with finance and accounts teams for smooth audits and reconciliations.
  

Material Handling & Safety

• Ensure proper material handling practices within stores and yards.
  
• Implement safety standards, housekeeping (5S), and loss prevention measures.
  
• Train store staff on safety, SOPs, and best practices.
  

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare detailed MIS reports using

  Excel

  (inventory aging, consumption trends, stock valuation).
• Create professional presentations in

  PowerPoint

  for management reviews.
• Support management with data-driven insights for decision-making.
  

Team Management

• Lead, train, and motivate store staff.
  
• Ensure discipline, accountability, and performance management within the team.
