Job Description – Store Incharge

Location: Raipur (Urla / Kanhera Industrial Area)
Department: Store & Inventory Management
Position: Store Incharge
Industry: Steel / Manufacturing (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, spares & finished goods
• Maintain accurate stock levels through daily updates in ERP / Manual Stock Registers
• Perform GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material inspection entries & tagging
• Ensure FIFO / FEFO procedure for all materials
• Conduct monthly stock audits / cycle counts and reconcile differences
• Coordinate closely with Purchase, Production & Accounts teams
• Maintain proper documentation: PO, Challan, Gate Entry, Issue Slips, Returns etc.
• Monitor Minimum / Maximum stock levels, raise timely Indents for shortage
• Manage Store layout, housekeeping & safety standards
• Handle inward/outward logistics with transporters & security staff
• Track returnable materials and tools issued to departments
• Ensure material traceability with batch/heat number management (steel industry)

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Inventory Management & Material Handling
• Good command on ERP / Store Management Software
• Knowledge of spare parts, industrial items & steel raw materials
• Good communication, leadership & problem-solving skills
• Must ensure zero stock variance & cost control approach

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate / Diploma in Material Management / Supply Chain (preferred)
• 3–8 years store experience in manufacturing industry, especially steel sector
• Experience with ISO / BIS documentation will be an added advantage

• Must follow plant safety rules & compliance

Salary

• Negotiable based on experience

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
