Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming mechanical parts and raw materials.

- Ensure proper storage and tagging of all materials as per standard procedures.

- Issue components to production and R&D as per BOM/indent requirements.

- Maintain inventory accuracy through daily transactions and regular cycle counts.

- Coordinate with purchase and QC departments for material inspections and stock reconciliations.

- Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering for critical items.

- Maintain GRNs, stock registers, issue slips, and bin cards (physical/digital).

- Ensure FIFO, 5S, and safety standards in the store area.

- Work with ERP or inventory management software for real-time tracking and documentation.

- Handle scrap, rejections, and returns appropriately.

- Assist in periodic audits and physical stock verifications.


Key Skills & Competencies: -

Good understanding of mechanical components (bearings, shafts, fasteners, motors, etc.) -

Familiarity with kitchen automation or small electromechanical assemblies is a plus. -

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP/Tally or any inventory software. -

Strong record-keeping and documentation skills. -

Knowledge of 5S, FIFO, and lean practices. -

Strong coordination and communication skills.
