Store Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Assistant to manage daily store and inventory operations for our restaurant/central kitchen. The role involves receiving, issuing, and organizing raw materials, ensuring proper storage conditions, and maintaining accurate stock records.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials, ingredients, packaging items, and supplies from vendors
• Verify quantity and quality of received items against purchase orders
• Properly store goods following FIFO/FEFO methods and hygiene standards
• Issue materials to kitchen/production team as per requisition
• Maintain daily stock records and update inventory sheets/software
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies
• Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the store area
• Monitor expiry dates, damaged items, and storage conditions
• Assist with vendor returns, replacements, and documentation
• Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, and accounts teams for smooth operations
• Follow food safety & hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)

Requirements

• Minimum 10th/12th pass; or Graduate in any related field preferred
• 1–2 years experience in restaurant store operations (preferred)
• Knowledge of raw materials, perishables, and kitchen supplies
• Basic computer Knowledge and skills (Excel, inventory software)
• Good communication, math, and record-keeping skills
• Should have valid 2-wheeler license (gear / non-gear)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
