Store Assistant

As a Storekeeper at our company, your role is crucial in efficiently managing inventory, supplies, and stock at our outlets. You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are accounted for, stored safely, and readily available to support the smooth operations of our restaurants. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and supplies based on purchase orders. - Organize and store materials systematically to facilitate easy access and effective inventory management. - Maintain accurate records of stock levels, usage, and wastage. - Collaborate with purchasing and kitchen teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent shortages. - Monitor stock expiry dates and enforce the FIFO (First In First Out) system to reduce waste. - Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with inventory records. - Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area. - Promptly report any discrepancies, damages, or stock shortages to the management. - Aid in the preparation of inventory reports and stock requisitions. Qualifications: - Previous experience as a storekeeper or inventory clerk, preferably in the food or hospitality industry. - Basic computer skills for inventory management software and record-keeping. - Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. - Ability to lift and move heavy items safely. - Honest, reliable, and capable of working independently. - Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with diverse teams.
