An average urban household spends roughly 2 hours a week doing laundry. Also, as per a report, laundry is a highly loathed household chore surpassed in antipathy only by cleaning the toilet & washing dishes. Laundry is a latent problem which had been begging for the right solution for a very long time. However, unlike developed countries, the penetration of professional laundry services in India is extremely low - as per research reports, the Indian laundry market was 96% unorganised in 2019. To solve this problem, Tumbledry is opening live laundry stores, providing world-class services, within every 3km radius in urban India. This required a revolution in the laundry industry, and we brought that by adopting technology and turning it into a mechanism-driven industry from being a highly labour-intensive industry. At present, we are already India's largest laundry and dry clean chain with 1100+ stores across 400+ cities. Now, the goal is to reach every urban Indian household and provide the highest standards of quality and convenience altogether. To turn this into reality we need a hyperlocal presence PAN India. Hence, we are on our way to opening 2000 live Tumbledry stores by 2026.
