Store Assistant

You will be joining GMK Research Laboratories as a post-graduate fresher in the Stores and Data Management team. Your main responsibilities will include recording daily inward and outward entries of materials and supplies in Excel, maintaining and updating inventory databases accurately, and supporting system-based data entry and documentation. You will also be preparing stock reports, assisting in verifying invoices and other paperwork, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance with laboratory procedures. Additionally, you will support general administrative tasks and coordinate with other departments as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Record daily inward and outward entries of materials and supplies in Excel. - Maintain and update inventory databases accurately. - Support system-based data entry and ensure synchronization between physical and digital records. - Prepare and maintain stock reports, material issue slips, and related documentation. - Assist in verifying invoices, GRNs, and other store-related paperwork. - Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, and R&D departments for material tracking and record verification. - Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with laboratory procedures. - Support general administrative or system tasks as assigned by the department. Required Qualifications: - Post-Graduate degree in Science, Commerce, or Computer Applications (any discipline related to data or operations preferred). - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, formulas, pivot tables, etc.). - Basic understanding of inventory or store management systems. - Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, exposure to ERP software or any database management system, good communication and documentation skills, as well as familiarity with MS Office tools are preferred.
