MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA preferred

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equity Research & Analysis:

• Conduct detailed fundamental analysis of publicly listed companies.
• Study financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Forecast earnings and valuations (using models like DCF, P/E, EV/EBITDA).

2. Market Monitoring:

• Track stock market movements, global economic indicators, and relevant news.
• Analyze macroeconomic trends and their impact on sector/stock performance.

3. Industry & Sector Research:

• Conduct sector-specific research (e.g., technology, pharma, auto).
• Identify key growth drivers, risks, and competitive dynamics.

4. Report Writing & Recommendations:

• Prepare detailed stock research reports with BUY/SELL/HOLD recommendations.
• Provide investment rationales, target prices, and risk assessments.

5. Data & Tools:

• Use Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel, or other financial tools to extract and analyze data.
• Build and maintain financial models.

6. Client & Team Interaction:

• Present analysis to fund managers, senior analysts, or clients.
• Collaborate with team members on investment ideas and strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets and instruments
• Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and strong critical thinking
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field
• MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA preferred
• 10-15 Years of experience in equity research, Investment analysis, or a similar role

Preferred Tools & Software:

• Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint
• Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Capital IQ
• Python/R (optional but a plus for quant analysis)
