Steel Structure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze steel structures, including beams, columns, trusses, frames, and connections, in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, fabrication drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct structural calculations and prepare design reports.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and fabrication methods.
• Provide technical guidance during fabrication, erection, and site construction phases.
• Perform structural integrity checks, load analysis, and safety assessments.
• Ensure compliance with international and local codes (e.g., IS, AISC, Eurocodes, BS).
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, inspect work quality, and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and project scheduling related to steel structures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of international steel design codes and standards.
• Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes of steel structures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with BIM tools and modern fabrication techniques.
• Site supervision experience in large-scale steel projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
