Job Description

Role & responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to existing customer bases across the South India region
  • Primarily drive sales and revenue growth within the assigned region
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets, forge strong relationships with key clients, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to meet individual and team goals
  • Manage and lead regional sales teams to achieve sales targets and inspire high performance in line with set KPIs and targets
  • Analyse market trends, monitor competitor activity, and recommend improving sales strategies
  • Growing a sustainable and robust sales pipeline and ensuring accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning
  • Prepare regular reports and conduct monthly meetings to review performance
  • Representing the company at regional events and trade shows
  • Analysing market trends and competitors activities in the region
  • Develop and manage regional sales budgets and expenses
  • Provide support to individual stores; managers; and teams
  • Oversee product and supply ordering and shipment in accordance with regional needs
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjusting strategies accordingly
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to maximise sales effectiveness.

SKILL SETS

  • Strong track record of success with prior experience in a regional sales role
  • Possess solid and credible relationships with key customers decision makers in the region
  • Highly goal-oriented and possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Good IT & Presentation Skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and budgeting
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills
