Role & responsibilities MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to existing customer bases across the South India region Primarily drive sales and revenue growth within the assigned region Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets, forge strong relationships with key clients, and identify new business opportunities. Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to meet individual and team goals Manage and lead regional sales teams to achieve sales targets and inspire high performance in line with set KPIs and targets Analyse market trends, monitor competitor activity, and recommend improving sales strategies Growing a sustainable and robust sales pipeline and ensuring accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning Prepare regular reports and conduct monthly meetings to review performance Representing the company at regional events and trade shows Analysing market trends and competitors activities in the region Develop and manage regional sales budgets and expenses Provide support to individual stores; managers; and teams Oversee product and supply ordering and shipment in accordance with regional needs Resolve customer complaints and service issues Monitor competitor activity and adjusting strategies accordingly Provide guidance, coaching, and support to maximise sales effectiveness. SKILL SETS Strong track record of success with prior experience in a regional sales role Possess solid and credible relationships with key customers decision makers in the region Highly goal-oriented and possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills Good IT & Presentation Skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in sales forecasting and budgeting Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills
