Planand Preparedness - Contingency Plan # Disaster Risk Reduction / DisasterMitigation Plan
Buildcapacities of NGOs, CBOs, Youths and other key stakeholders on Disasterpreparedness / Disaster Mitigation
Carryout disaster risk assessment # Hazard Risk Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA) indisaster hotspots
Developplan for reducing the damage caused by natural hazards such as floods, droughtsand cyclones
Identifyvulnerable location and mobilise community in very high and high climatevulnerable districts for programme intervention
Conducttrainings for community / stakeholder in Disaster preparedness / DisasterMitigation
Coordinationwith grassroots / community stakeholders for effective implementation of thestandard operating procedures based disaster preparedness / disaster mitigation
Conductcapacity building for selected individuals(volunteers) in the areas of DisasterRisk.
Build the partnershipswith various stakeholders for effective implementation of Disaster RiskReduction
The DRR team members inthe State to keep track of the weather advisories that are circulated in caseof an extreme weather event.
For Disaster Response allteam members that are based out of districts in the State are the Main Point ofContact.

Education Requirement :

Necessary: Graduation / Post Graduation in Climate Change/ Environmental Science / Natural Resource Management / Disaster Management
Desired: Development Sector

Experience Requirement :

Necessary: Minimum 2 years of disastermanagement/response experience
Desired: community based Disaster Risk Reduction /Mitigation plan
