State Lead - Logistics - Telangana

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing inbound/outbound customs and logistics support to ensure smooth movement of materials/vehicles between various ports to Kakinada and vice versa, as well as coordinating with customs authorities for clearances and permissions. Additionally, you will handle reverse logistics for repairs/refurbishments abroad and provide base support to the RCP-Import Team. Special work coordination with customs seniors for various issues will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinating inbound logistics from Chennai air/sea port for consignments and from Kakinada Port for chartered vessels with project cargo - Managing inbound logistics at Kakinada port for Rigs/OSVs/Tugs and ensuring coordination with custom brokers, transporters, shipping companies, and surveyors for import cargo customs clearance - Monitoring cargo movement from port to OT/Shorebase and ensuring material arrival with proper documents - Handling claims for damage/shortages and managing reverse logistics by sending goods abroad for repairs/refurbishment - Supporting RCP-Imports in import and re-export documentation, logistics assistance, visits to custom houses, and coordination with agents for issues - Assisting in hazardous items disposals for custom permissions, EC assistance, permissions for storage of goods inside the port, and handling special activities like exports to other shorebases - Receiving show cause notices and letters from customs, drafting replies in consultation with RCP-Imports/Excise & consultants, and representing the company in customs meetings - Managing special exports to other shorebases Qualification Required: - Graduate with a PG degree in Export Import/Materials Management - Minimum 10 years of experience in the field - Working experience in the Oil and Gas industry will be preferred Additional Company Details (if applicable): The ideal candidate should have skills and competencies in export, import, foreign trade, insurance, and transportation. They should have a thorough understanding of working with custom bonded goods, SEZs, SAP MM module, MS Office, and knowledge in inspection and audits.
