State Lead - Logistics - Telangana

The job responsibilities include providing inbound/outbound customs and logistics support for smooth materials/vehicle movement between various ports to Kakinada and vice versa, as well as between yards, ports, and yards. This involves coordinating with Kakinada & Vizag Customs for clearances & permissions, managing reverse logistics for repairs & refurbishment abroad, providing base support to the RCP-Import Team in inbound & outbound logistics, and coordinating special work with customs seniors for various issues. Specific tasks include managing inbound logistics from Chennai air/sea port, Kakinada Port, and Kakinada port for rigs/OSVs/tugs, coordinating with custom brokers, transporters, shipping companies, and surveyors for import cargo customs clearance, monitoring cargo movement, handling claims for damage/shortages, managing reverse logistics for sending goods abroad for repairs & refurbishment, supporting RCP-Imports in import & re-export documentation, assisting with hazardous items disposals, handling exports to other shorebases, receiving show cause notices from customs, drafting replies, and representing the company in customs meetings. The ideal candidate should be a graduate with a PG degree in Export Import / Materials Management and have a minimum of 10 years of experience. Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry will be preferred. Skills and competencies required for this role include expertise in export, import, foreign trade, insurance, and transportation, thorough understanding of working with custom bonded goods and within custom bonded areas, familiarity with working in SEZs, proficiency in SAP MM Module and MS Office, knowledge in inspection and audits.,
