What youll do... Enterprise Business Services is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, Associate Digital Experience.
Team is looking for an experienced SAP Finance consultants who will contribute to the S4 implementation, support and maintenance.
This role demands comprehensive knowledge of support systems and tools including DevOps, Incident management, handling escalations, abilities to provide quick and effective workarounds and solutions to facilitate seamless and smooth functioning of the applications.
What youll do:
- Work as an Individual contributor on SAP Finance & TAX business processes (S4 and ECC) of Walmart.
- Bring best in class consulting experience in SAP Finance & Taxes and proven track record of S4 HANA implementation experience.
- Ability to work independently in all phases of projects starting from business requirement gathering, solution design, build, testing (Integration, Regression, UAT), Data loads and cutover, Go live and hyper care.
- Contributes to Solution architecture/design for Tax business processes.
- Brings best practice of Tax, retail and other domains and brings adoption of the same.
- Bring innovative solutions, automation in SAP deployments.
- Provide Recommendations to business problems with pro and cons.
- Should possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in customer centric environment.
- Build a good rapport with business community, cross functional teams and program leadership.
- Should have strong articulation skills and stakeholder management.
- Should be able to own end to end responsibility for Tax solution being deployed in S4 HANA and existing ECC systems.
- Responsible for analyzing, solutioning, designing, configuring, enhancing, and testing the integrated tax solution for US, Canada and other countries along with integration with Vertex.
- Responsible for Accelerator configuration, FI, SD and MM tax set-up and related master data that meets the US and Canada legal/business/usability requirements.
What will you bring:
- Expertise in Tax and its application in SAP Finance modules and aligned business processes to support indirect and direct taxes.
- S4 HANA experience is mandatory.
- Expensive experience implementing indirect tax solutions in SAP for US, Canada, Puerto Rico and other countries with Vertex integration experience for tax determination and tax reporting.
- Extensive experience in implementing asset accounting to enable tax depreciation per local & regulatory requirements
- Extensive experience of SAP FI Tax Configuration, and MM/SD Pricing along with related master data.
- Knowledge of country specific Indirect tax (GST, VAT, HST, PST, QST) scenarios and reporting needs (Example 1099 report in US) along with applicable business scenarios.
- Knowledge of indirect tax impact on SAP invoice verification/FI AP invoice processing and SAP Order related billing is required.
- Ability to understand complex business/tax requirements within the business processes and communicate effectively with a non-technical audience.
- Knowledge on TDS and other tax reports generation & modification as per business requirement.
- Experience with Vertex interface administration.
- Design, build and support integrations to external tax authorities where needed.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation according to the project methodology for all aspects of requirements, development, testing and implementation.
- Knowledge on SABRIX system is added advantage.
- B.E./MBA/CA/ICWA/Tax professional with Finance specialization or any other relevant qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of S4 HANA Implementation of Tax & FICO in reputed global organization.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in implementation / application enhancement /production support/ projects in Finance.
- Minimum experience of 4+ implementation projects.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience across all SAP Finance modules and DevOps methodology.
- Must have hands-on knowledge and experience on support tools - Service Now, JIRA, Charm, ALM.
- Effective business communication and stakeholder management skills.

Masters degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or related area and 2 years experience in enterprise design, implementation, or consulting., Prior work experience in the technical integrations between SAP, Workday, etc. and third-party applications., Prior work experience using technology packages such as SAP, Workday, Infor, and Coupa based on business requirements., Prior work experience writing functional specifications and test scripts.
