Staff Solution Architect

Role Overview: You will be responsible for delivering software solutions supporting the UKSS and USSS platforms, including integration with internal and web-facing systems, to support the growing portfolio of work. Working as a key member of the delivery/project team, you will play a leading role in shaping and directing solution developments throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Design and communicate solution architectures, assisting global delivery teams in developing integrated reusable solutions - Produce architecture designs in alignment with standard strategies and practices, including security considerations - Present design proposals to and obtain agreement from the global architecture review board - Maintain and support core platform frameworks and guardrails to ensure changes and modifications support the global business and remain compatible with existing integrations - Consider organizational process and service changes in addition to technology solutions - Balance solutions based on time and cost factors while identifying and mitigating technical risks - Engage with stakeholders at various levels to ensure comprehensive consideration and agreement on all aspects of the solution - Work on multiple projects at different stages of delivery Qualifications Required: - Capable of creating compelling and accurate designs that consider all stakeholders - Understanding and interpreting business processes to find the right technology fit - Building strong relationships across the technology team and wider business - Ability to identify, escalate, and manage risks, issues, and actions - Driven to update skills and awareness of developments in the commercial world, bringing relevant ideas to the table - Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, C4, UML, SysML - Keen interest in technology and emerging trends - Knowledge and experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and Unified Modelling Language - Experience working within a software delivery lifecycle as part of multiple project teams - Preferred experience in the financial sector - Knowledge/experience in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) - Awareness of IT Data Security standards - Experience in SQL Server and high-level database design - Knowledge/experience in enterprise development technologies and tools Additional Company Details: Equiniti is a leading international provider of shareholder, pension, remediation, and credit technology.
