Staff Nurse

Job Title - ICU Nurse / Critical Care Nurse / ER Nurse Job Summary - An ICU Nurse provides specialized, high-acuity care to critically ill or unstable patients. They closely monitor patient conditions, operate advanced medical equipment, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and cardiac rhythms continuously, Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and life-support therapies, Operate and manage critical care equipment (ventilators, infusion pumps, monitors)Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies, Provide wound care, pain management, and infection control, Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, Educate and support patients’ families regarding care plans and patient status, Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care, Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and ethical guidelines Required Qualifications - Registered Nurse (RN) license (active and in good standing)Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification ICU or critical care experience preferred Skills & Competencies - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work under pressure in high-stress situations Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and strong decision-making skills Emotional resilience and compassion Work Environment - Hospital Intensive Care Unit Fast-paced, high-responsibility setting Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
