Job Title -Intern/ Executive - Biomedical Engineering Job Summary - Ensure continuous availability, safety, and optimal functioning of all biomedical equipment through preventive maintenance, prompt troubleshooting, statutory compliance, and documentation in line with NABH and hospital safety standards. Key Responsibilities - Execute preventive maintenance and breakdown management for all biomedical equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software faults to minimize downtime. Coordinate installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of new equipment. Ensure calibration, electrical safety testing, and statutory compliance. Maintain complete equipment documentation (PM logs, service reports, calibration records). Coordinate with OEMs / AMC / CMC vendors and monitor SLA adherence. Support OT, ICU, Emergency, and critical care areas during emergencies. Assist in NABH audits, internal audits, and inspections. Support user training and promote safe equipment usage.
