Job Description

1. Financial books closure & reporting:

  • Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements - BS, PL, Cash flow on monthly/ quarterly/ annually basis. Ensure updation of new IND AS application on Consolidated financial statements and ensure accounting policies are aligned with the same.
  • Analyse consolidated nos. and gain business understanding through co-ordination with various standalone users in order prepare detailed commentary on consol. Variances both at BS and PL level
  • Prepare PAT analysis, Segment reporting and relevant reports used for MIS & IR reporting purposes
  • Handle Statutory and internal auditors, solve audit queries, enhance audit efficiency

2. Business Process alignment and Automation:

  • Evaluate automation requirements for consolidation and provisions at group level and shall lead while implementation of new ERP, if any. Work on various SOPs to be developed at group level
  • Ensure COA synchronisation between Consolidated Vs Standalone financial statements
  • Lead in preparation of SOP for Fixed asset process and work along with IT & Admin teams in synchronising data & reconciliation and steer physical verification process as per CARO requirements

3. Group level activities

  • Identify areas of cost savings at group level and assist in providing inputs and analyse data for cost optimisation project
  • Ensure group investment dashboard is maintained and sent to Investments team and CFO on monthly basis
  • Ensure ESOP workings are appropriately managed and data shall be shared to each standalone accounts users on monthly basis. Reconcile ESOP data with Compliance & HR teams every quarter. Provide necessary ESOP calculation data to management whenever needed.
  • Identify areas of cost savings at group level and assist in providing inputs and analyse data for cost optimisation project

4. Cross-functional Coordination & Team management:

  • Work closely with Treasury, Investor relations, Compliance and Accounts standalone teams to align processes and support on Board & regulatory deliverables.
  • Act as a key liaison between Management and external regulators, auditors
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team on technical matters and ensure team spirit at all times
