Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Accountable for all phases of sourcing cost reduction, lead time optimization, and contract negotiation
Develop competitive supplier environments and execute sourcing strategies
Review and validate purchase orders in line with company policies
Collaborate with suppliers to develop or improve products to meet customer needs
Negotiate pricing and ensure compliance with cost-effectiveness standards
Conduct supplier evaluation using industry cost models
Draft and manage supplier agreements in consultation with cross-functional teams
Develop and maintain weekly/monthly sourcing and budget status reports

What Were Looking For

Strong understanding of Casting machining and supplier base
Proven track record in strategic sourcing and vendor development
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
Ability to work across departments and drive alignment on supply chain goals
Strong reporting and documentation skills

Desired Profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Machining.
Familiarity with industry cost modelling and supplier scorecards
