Description
We are looking for a hands-on, result-driven Machine Shop In-Charge to lead our CNC machine shop operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily machining activities, ensuring quality output, implementing process improvements, and maintaining safety standards. This is a critical role to support our precision manufacturing of complex valve components. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, coordinate, and guide shop floor activities and workforce. Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production targets. Develop and optimize machining processes, fixture/tooling/part programming (FTP). Conduct quality checks, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to QMS, safety, and 5S/TPM/Lean/Kaizen practices. Lead CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens) and prove-out processes. Drive productivity improvements using OEE and Industry 4.0 tools like TPM-Trak. Coordinate with internal teams (PED, QC, R&D) and external stakeholders (Customers, Auditors). Preferred candidate profile 5+ years hands-on experience in complex CNC machining (5-Axis, Turn-Mill, Mill-Turn). Expertise in CNC Programming (Fanuc/Siemens), MasterCAM , Tool selection , and blueprint reading with GD&T. Strong exposure to metrology tools CMM, Contour, 2D Height Gauge, Roughness Tester, etc. Familiarity with TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and VSM . Experience with SAP, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power-BI is an advantage.
