Manufacturing Production Process Engineering focuses on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods including Designing arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout Designing the sequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions Conducting tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and troubleshooting/solving production problems Providing guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices Responsibilities Design efficient production process /methods/ standards improve safety, ergonomics, quality, productivity. Hands on in designing the work standards like work bench, tools, layout, orientation etc Familiar in cycle time, takt time, process observations and production capacity working and deployment. Good know of manufacturing the required tools using the in house resources, also use external vendor when required. Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes to improve the flow and efficiency. Dig deeper into wastes and bottlenecks to improve the productivity and quality. Identifies potential locations and determines improvement activities in S-Q-D-I-C Works with other departments to develop design and production standards Expertise in space optimization and related improvement. Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns Generates process documentation and reports which can help us to drive tangible benefits across value chain Engagement with production staff actively for implementing the improvements. Train staff for new processes and provide instructions and manuals Qualification Strong believer in standard work as fundamental for safety, productivity, and quality Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards Effective communication and presentation abilities Troubleshooting expertise and diligence Drive for results attitude Self-Motivator and passion of driving things

We are looking for a hands-on, result-driven Machine Shop In-Charge to lead our CNC machine shop operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily machining activities, ensuring quality output, implementing process improvements, and maintaining safety standards. This is a critical role to support our precision manufacturing of complex valve components. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, coordinate, and guide shop floor activities and workforce. Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production targets. Develop and optimize machining processes, fixture/tooling/part programming (FTP). Conduct quality checks, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to QMS, safety, and 5S/TPM/Lean/Kaizen practices. Lead CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens) and prove-out processes. Drive productivity improvements using OEE and Industry 4.0 tools like TPM-Trak. Coordinate with internal teams (PED, QC, R&D) and external stakeholders (Customers, Auditors). Preferred candidate profile 5+ years hands-on experience in complex CNC machining (5-Axis, Turn-Mill, Mill-Turn). Expertise in CNC Programming (Fanuc/Siemens), MasterCAM , Tool selection , and blueprint reading with GD&T. Strong exposure to metrology tools CMM, Contour, 2D Height Gauge, Roughness Tester, etc. Familiarity with TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and VSM . Experience with SAP, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power-BI is an advantage.
