Sr. Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and skilled Reels Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate lives and breathes short-form video and has a proven ability to turn raw footage into captivating, scroll-stopping content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You will be responsible for editing high-energy videos that maximize viewer retention and engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Production and Editing: Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality, and on-brand reels, primarily for Instagram and TikTok.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful short-form content.
• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro. Experience with Adobe After Effects or other motion graphics software is a plus.
• Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of current social media platforms and a keen eye for what works visually and narratively to drive engagement.
• Creativity and Attention to Detail: A creative mindset with a sharp attention to detail, especially regarding visual polish, timing, and brand aesthetics.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to receive and apply feedback effectively within a team.
• Work Ethic: The ability to work independently, manage multiple fast-turnaround projects, and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

• Experience with AI-native video tools like MidJourney or RunwayML.
• Basic videography skills with a camera or smartphone.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva.
• Creative Storytelling: Craft short, compelling visual narratives using dynamic cuts, transitions, effects, and text overlays to keep viewers engaged.
• Trend Analysis and Adaptation: Stay ahead of social media trends, including popular audio, meme formats, and emerging video styles, to produce relevant and shareable content.
• Content Optimization: Format and optimize videos for vertical, mobile-first viewing, ensuring proper aspect ratios and file sizes for each platform's algorithm.
• Sound Design: Incorporate trending audio, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance video content and capture the viewer's attention.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm video concepts, align with campaign objectives, and adapt to brand guidelines.
• File Management: Maintain and organize video assets, project files, and backups according to established workflows.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
