Sr. Video Editor and Graphic Designer

Job Title: Video Editor & Graphic Design Faculty

Location: Gigrow Academy, Near Cygnus Hospital, Near Old Bus Stand, Kurukshetra
Job Type: Full-Time (Offline)

Primary Role:

Lead video editing and Graphic Design training for students and oversee academy media production.

Core Responsibilities:

• Teach video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve preferred).
• Teach basics of graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Coral).
• Train and supervise student editors and design interns.
• Manage end-to-end editing of academy promotional videos, ads, reels, course videos, etc.
• Oversee client-based editing and design projects assigned to students/interns.
• Maintain editing quality standards, templates, and workflow systems.
• Assist in curriculum planning, live demos, assignments, and project reviews.
• Handle batch scheduling, attendance, and student progress tracking.
• Coordinate with management for campaign creatives, thumbnails, posters, and reels.
• Ensure deadlines are met for academy and client deliverables.
• Provide guidance on video storytelling, cinematic editing, transitions, sound design, and color grading.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in video editing (minimum 2 years experience).
• Strong command of Premiere Pro & After Effects (mandatory).
• Knowledge of motion graphics, compositing, SFX, color grading, transitions.
• Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
• Good communication and teaching ability.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, students, and interns simultaneously.

Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years professional editing experience.
• Prior teaching/training experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time | Offline | Kurukshetra campus
• 6 days a week

Compensation:

• Salary based on experience + performance bonuses for project delivery
