Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior US Accounting Specialist with strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting processes, and US taxation. The role requires hands-on experience in managing US accounting operations, preparing financial statements, tax filings, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle US accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Handle US federal, state, and local tax compliance, including preparation of tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040, etc.).
• Ensure timely filing of sales tax, payroll tax, and other statutory filings.
• Coordinate with US CPAs, tax authorities, and clients for queries and compliance requirements.
• Perform tax planning and advisory for individuals and corporations.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and best practices in accounting and taxation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
• Stay updated with changes in US accounting standards and tax laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in US accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and multi-state taxation.
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other US accounting/tax software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA / EA (Enrolled Agent) certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Prior experience in US-based outsourcing/KPO/BPO firms.
• Knowledge of international taxation or transfer pricing (added advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
