As a Technical Program Manager, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints. Your ability to break down large, complex programs into manageable pieces, develop functional and technical user stories, and deliver them successfully and timely is crucial. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical thinking, and leadership are essential for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the success of the program, including developing and managing partner relationships to expand the program's impact. - Lead planning, execution, and delivery of projects across multiple teams by breaking down ambiguous science and engineering goals into manageable milestones, writing functional specifications, creating system design, solving complex technical problems, interfacing with multiple teams, and delivering solutions in a successful, agile, and timely manner. - Handle communication for delivery across projects with senior leadership and partner organizations, including overseeing review documents, newsletters, and wiki page development. - Anticipate bottlenecks and balance business needs versus technical constraints to expedite project progress. - Manage resource allocation for all projects across technical teams and maintain a balanced program roadmap. **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 3+ years of software development experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams - 5+ years of experience working in an agile and/or scrum environment - Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules *A successful candidate should bring deep technical and software expertise, strong project management skills, good judgment, and a desire to make an industry-wide impact.
