We are hiring a highly connected Sr. Talent acquisition specialist / HR Recruiter who is not limited to job portals or online tools. This role demands someone with deep field-level connections across DRI, Pellet Plant, Blast Furnace (BF), Sinter Plant, and related steel plant domains — capable of recruiting from the shop floor to the control room , from riggers to techno-commercial officers , and from fitters to project engineers . This is not a desk job — this is a commercial, impact-oriented role where the recruiter uses their personal and professional networks to mobilize skilled manpower and techno-commercial professionals who can drive our projects and help us win new business . Key Responsibilities: Use personal contacts, industrial networks, ex-employees, trade unions, plant-based manpower agents, and HRs from peer companies (like Vaaman Engineering, Hajee A.P. Bava, SMS, BEC, etc.) to identify and onboard the right manpower — fast. Recruit across all levels: Blue collar (riggers, welders, fitters, helpers) Yellow collar (site supervisors, safety officers, technicians) White collar (engineers, project managers, documentation officers) Techno-commercial (negotiators, client coordinators, proposal engineers) Coordinate closely with our sales and project acquisition team to hire techno-commercial officers who can open doors in steel plants, negotiate projects, and close deals. Act as a field HR scout , visiting plants, labour camps, recruitment hubs, and technical institutes to spot, attract, and mobilize talent . Identify HR and Admin professionals in other companies (including client companies) who can give internal references for manpower or even projects. Work closely with top management to understand project targets and develop aggressive hiring strategies to meet them within deadlines. Stay updated with market wage trends, availability of manpower in different clusters (Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, etc.), and negotiate cost-effective hires. Eligibility criteria: Someone who has worked in or recruited for steel plant EPC, mechanical erection, shutdown, or maintenance projects A person with a strong field network — not dependent on job portals Must have direct or indirect links with professionals in DRI, Pellet, BF, Sinter, and Steel Plant HR/Admin/Contractor circles Sales-minded HR – who understands that right manpower brings projects, and the right techno-commercial team brings business Excellent in communication, negotiation, and on-ground coordination Preferred Background: Mandatory 5–8 years experience in recruitment for steel/cement/power/industrial construction Exposure to Pellet Plant, DRI, Sinter, Blast Furnace projects Field exposure in Odisha / West Bengal/ Jharkhand / Chhattisgarh preferred Candidate with previous or current link to Vaaman Engineering / HAPBCO / MONOMARK/ Jindal / Tata Steel projects will be highly preferred N.B - 1)Designation / salary is negotiable for deserving candidate. 2) Accommodation will be provided by our company at Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
