Sr. Solutions Architect

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of industry experience in designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and resilient applications.

Proven expertise in architecting low-latency and high-throughput distributed systems (experience with handling 10,000+ transactions per second is a plus).

Strong experience with real-time event-driven architectures, microservices, and API-driven systems.

Proficiency in high-performance backend development with technologies like .Net, Java, Node.js.

Deep understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL) optimized for high-speed transactions (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or DynamoDB).

Experience with message queues and streaming (e.g., Kafka or RabbitMQ) to support real-time processing.

Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with real-time telemetry, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

Expertise in encryption, security protocols, and anti-DDOS measures for financial transactions.

Expertise in designing fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery strategies.

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for high-availability applications.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on sportsbook platforms, or high-frequency trading systems.

Understanding of sports betting regulations, odds calculations, and risk management systems.

Experience working in a highly regulated industry with a focus on security, compliance, and anti-fraud measures.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Lead: Design and implement a scalable, low-latency, high-throughput betting platform capable of processing 10,000+ bets per second.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction, mentorship, and hands-on guidance to a team of developers.

Client Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment with business goals.

System Optimization: Optimize performance at every level of the stack, from API response times to database queries and caching.

High Availability: Design for 99.99% uptime, implementing multi-region failover strategies, load balancing, and redundancy.

Code Reviews & Best Practices: Maintain code quality, enforce best practices, and perform system audits.

Scalability Planning: Design horizontally scalable architectures to handle sudden spikes in betting activity.

Monitoring & Incident Response: Establish real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting to detect and respond to issues proactively.
