At the moment, we cater to customers based in the US.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our small and stellar team and help us build the foundation of our scalable backend systems. You’ll design and implement robust APIs, data models, and integrations that power our core products. This is a high-ownership role where you'll have the opportunity to shape architecture and engineering practices from the ground up, working closely with the founding team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs.
• Architect and optimize data models, caching strategies, and service integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to define API contracts and ensure seamless data flow.
• Implement best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems.
• Stay updated with backend development trends, frameworks, and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Backend Technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one Python web framework (Django, Flask).
• Basic familiarity with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases database technologies like PostgreSQL or/and MySQL.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
