Sr. Software Engineer FieldOps Common Backend(.Net API)

You will be working closely with product management, UI developers for the design, development, testing and deployment of our next generation and existing applications, portals to realize the corporate vision and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work in a team or individually to design, develop and test APIs for web and mobile.
• Design, develop, test and document quality software to meet user and functional requirements within specified timeframes and in accordance with CNH coding standards.
• Generate rapid proof of concept (POC) for feasibility testing.
• Maintain and update documentation pertinent to API development..
• Adhere to prescribed development systems, processes procedures and ensure efficient, effective, high-quality delivery.
• Contribute to the improvement of development systems, processes, procedures.
• Contribute to growing team members, building a strong cohesive team
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and showcase technical excellence throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Perform tasks as specified by the Delivery Lead/Team Lead
• Other related duties as required.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

• 812 years

  of hands-on experience in C# .NET development.
• Strong proficiency in C#, SQL TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, database design, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Entity Framework (EF Core preferred).
• Experience with Redis for caching and distributed data handling.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, DevOps, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Graph QL APIs and schema design.
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles and common design patterns
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture and system integration.
• Certifications in Azure or .NET technologies.

Highly Desirable:

• Knowledge of ABP Framework & DAPR framework.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript framework libraries for API testing with Playwright & K6 framework
• Knowledge of Datadog for monitoring and debugging, including its integration with APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge on JIRA
