Sr. Service Engineer

The Senior Service Engineer at Liebherr is responsible for providing technical service support to Liebherr customers and machines. In this role, you will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul equipment of Liebherr EMT division, including Wheeled Loaders, Excavators, and Dozers. You will apply your expertise in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical theory to test and modify operational machinery, control equipment, circuitry, and components. Operating machines for testing, inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting will be a key part of your responsibilities. Your duties will also include testing mechanical products and equipment after repair or modification, repairing and replacing damaged parts with OEM spares, performing routine maintenance work on Liebherr machines, and examining parts for damage or wear. You will need to read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings, as well as overhaul and test machines to ensure optimal performance and safety. As a Senior Service Engineer, you will maintain quality standards through visual and mechanical inspection methods, demonstrate knowledge of machine diagnostic software, complete jobs independently, assist customers with troubleshooting, and ensure correct maintenance practices are followed. You will maintain tools, equipment, and a positive attitude while promoting a safe work environment and following safety procedures. To qualify for this role, you must have a full-time Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from a reputable institute, along with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Earth moving and Mining equipment, preferably on Dozers, Wheeled Loaders, Excavators, or similar machines. Proficiency in hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems, as well as self-motivated behavior, are desired skills.
