As a Security Operations Center (SOC) professional at the company, your role involves the following responsibilities: - Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for this role. - Experience in managing global customers, particularly in the US and Canada, is advantageous. - Proficiency in Incident Management and Response is required. - In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks, threat vectors, risk management, and incident management is necessary. Strong knowledge of EDR and XDR is an advantage. - Strong understanding of Security solutions like EDR, XDR, NDR, EPP, Web Security, Firewalls, Email Security, O365, SIEM, SSL, Packet Analysis, HIPS/NIPS, Network Monitoring tools, Remedy, Service Now Ticketing Toolset Web Security, AV, UBEA, Advanced SOC, etc., is expected. - You will be responsible for working in a 24x7 Security Operation Centre (SOC) environment. - Hands-on experience in creating, performing, reviewing, and delivering Incident Response playbooks and procedures is required. - Providing analysis and trending of security log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices is part of your responsibilities. - Experience in threat and vulnerability analysis, as well as security advisory services, is needed. - Experience with Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools, creating advanced correlation rules, and conducting Vulnerability Assessments is a must. - Experience in threat hunting and forensic investigations is advantageous. - Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends. - Other tasks and responsibilities will be assigned to you as needed. - Experience with creating and fine-tuning Rules, and Playbook, etc., is expected. - Knowledge of various operating system flavors including but not limited to Windows, Linux, Unix, is essential. - Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications is required. - Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications is necessary. - Communicate effectively by contributing significantly to the development and delivery of a variety of written and visual documents for diverse audiences.
