Sr. Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and feasibility studies during the design phase
• Develop tender documentation and assist in contractor selection and negotiations
• Monitor project costs and expenditures throughout the construction phase; update budgets and track variation
• Perform interim valuations, issue payment certificates, and manage subcontractor payments
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks; perform value engineering to optimize cost-efficiency
• Administer contracts, including variation orders, claims, and final account settlements
• Conduct site inspections to validate progress and completed works
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, health & safety, and quality standards
• Prepare and present regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final project summaries to stakeholders .
• Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum8+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost consultancy, or related commercial roles
• Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS/AIQS) is an advantage
