Job Summary

As a Sr. Quality Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of software products in the Oil and Gas domain. You will leverage your expertise in tools like GITHUB Cypress Python Javascript Playwright Java TestNG Jira and Selenium to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment contributing to the companys mission of delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure software quality in the Oil and Gas domain.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Utilize GITHUB for version control and collaboration ensuring seamless integration of code changes.

Design and execute automated test scripts using Cypress Playwright and Selenium to validate application functionality.

Write and maintain test cases in Python and Javascript to ensure thorough coverage of application features.

Employ Java and TestNG for developing robust test frameworks and enhancing test automation processes.

Track and manage defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.

Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.

Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.

Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work to maximize productivity and collaboration.

Contribute to the companys mission by ensuring the delivery of reliable and efficient software solutions in the Oil and Gas sector.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

Demonstrate proficiency in using GITHUB Cypress Python Javascript Playwright Java TestNG Jira and Selenium.

Have experience in the Oil and Gas domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements.

Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Show ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Display strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Be adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities.

Certifications Required
