Sr. Quality Analyst

As a QA Engineer at the company, your role involves developing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases. You will conduct various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the quality of the product. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and support is essential to understand and clarify requirements for high-quality software deliverables. Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug tracking tools will be part of your responsibilities. Working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and implementing QA best practices and methodologies are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical expertise and support. Qualifications required for this role include a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is necessary. Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a must. A proven track record of testing web-based applications, familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential. Being detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities is key to success in this role. It would be good to have experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or GitLab, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and understanding of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes are advantageous.
