DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer with 2-5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, fast, and reliable deployments. Your responsibilities will also include architecting and maintaining scalable, high-performance AWS infrastructure that meets the business needs. Automation of infrastructure management and provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar will be a key aspect of your role. Collaboration with development and operations teams to integrate new features and deployments seamlessly is essential. You will continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems to enhance operational visibility while ensuring cloud security and compliance, adhering to industry best practices. An analytical mindset and proactive approach to identifying issues and driving improvements will be highly valued. To succeed in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. In-depth expertise with AWS is required, and familiarity with Google Cloud or Azure will be beneficial. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc., as well as strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, are essential. Solid scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or similar, along with experience in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, are necessary. A thorough understanding of networking, security best practices, and server management is expected. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms, as well as strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, will be valuable assets. Good to have experience includes cloud cost optimization strategies using AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, or similar tools, as well as familiarity with serverless architectures like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions for building highly scalable applications.
