Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance current testing frameworks, tools, and quality practices.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks in CI/CD workflows to speed up delivery and feedback loops.
• Implement smart testing strategies (e.g., smoke vs. full suite, selective test runs, parallel execution).
• Improve stability and maintainability of Cypress test suites.
• Develop and maintain modern cross-browser automation with Playwright.
• Refactor legacy tests and infrastructure for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Coach engineers and QA teams on writing clean, modular, scalable test automation.
• Drive quality engineering culture across product teams by leading test architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with platform/DevOps teams to improve deployment automation and infrastructure in Azure.
• Contribute to documentation and share knowledge through guides, code reviews, and training.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–12 years of experience in QE automation, software quality engineering, or SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for E2E testing.
• Proficiency with Playwright for cross-browser automation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Releases).
• Deep understanding of testing levels: unit, integration, API, UI/E2E, smoke, and regression.
• Solid working knowledge of .NET applications, especially in Azure-based environments.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and C#, including test frameworks and dependency injection patterns.
• Demonstrated experience improving the speed and stability of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience diagnosing and refactoring brittle or flaky tests in large legacy test suites.
• Solid grasp of test orchestration, parallel test execution, fail-fast strategies, and test selection methods.
