Sr. QA Engineer

The role based in Mumbai (WFO) involves reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback. You will be responsible for creating detailed test plans and test cases, estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. Additionally, you will design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools. Identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs, as well as performing thorough regression testing post bug resolution, are essential tasks. Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to align with client needs is a key responsibility. Collaboration with internal teams such as developers and product managers to understand system requirements is crucial. Monitoring debugging process results, investigating non-conforming software causes, and training users to implement solutions are part of the role. Tracking quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts is essential. Staying updated with the latest testing tools and test strategies is required. Key Requirements: - Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing, as well as automated testing tools - Proficiency in SQL and scripting - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process - Experience in performance and/or security testing is advantageous - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Skills Required: - Agile/Scrum - SQL - Test Automation (QA) - Software Testing (QA) - White-box testing - Black-box testing - Performance Testing,
