Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing, including a minimum of 3 years in Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Execute test cases manually and log defects with clear documentation.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
Write and execute automation test scripts for web and API applications.
Perform thorough manual and automated testing of REST APIs.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes of defects.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Proactively participate in agile/scrum processes and contribute to continuous testing improvement.
Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4 to 8 years of overall experience in Software Testing.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Node.js, Selenium, Java, or .NET.
Strong understanding of programming concepts and a developer mindset.
Hands-on experience with REST API testing – both manual and automated.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
Strong knowledge of database testing and ability to write queries.
Exposure to AWS or any cloud platform (nice to have)
