Sr Python Developer (AI Applications)

As a Senior Python Developer (AI Applications) at UKG, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge SaaS technologies and impactful projects used by enterprises globally. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software solutions in a collaborative environment. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient code, participating in design reviews, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability of new features and systems. Key Responsibilities: - Software Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for various software applications and systems. - Design and Architecture: Participate in design reviews and ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of new features and systems. - Code Review: Provide feedback on code developed by other developers and maintain a high bar of technical excellence. - Testing: Build testable software, define tests, automate tests using tools like Junit and Selenium, and leverage Design Patterns for test automation. - Debugging and Troubleshooting: Triage defects, debug and resolve customer reported issues in a timely manner. - Service Health and Quality: Contribute to maintaining service health and quality, identify and escalate issues promptly, and assist in root cause analysis. - Dev Ops Model: Work in a DevOps Model from requirements to deployment and maintenance in production. - Documentation: Properly document new features, enhancements, and fixes to the product. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of professional software development experience. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. - Experience with software development practices, design patterns, version control systems, and bug tracking systems. - Basic understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles. - Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. - Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, test automation frameworks, and agile development methodologies. - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
