Sr. Purchase Executive

As a Senior Executive in Procurement and Purchase, your role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet project needs. You will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services to meet project timelines. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating supplier performance, and resolving any issues promptly are crucial aspects of your job. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project needs. - Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms and prices. - Ensure timely procurement of materials and services to meet project timelines. - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. - Evaluate supplier performance and manage supplier contracts. - Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly. - Monitor and control procurement budgets. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies. - Maintain accurate records of procurement activities. - Prepare and submit regular procurement reports to senior management. - Work closely with the team, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements. - Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. - Assist in resolving any procurement-related issues during project execution. - Ensure Quality Control by tracking proper FAT, Type test, Third party test, etc., for materials. - Ensure quality & Capable Supplier/vendor assessment by checking credentials and factory inspection. - Develop new vendors regularly. - Develop a Supply Chain Management team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related field. - Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in the solar/wind or electrical sector. - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in procurement software and tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In addition to the key responsibilities and qualifications, the job offers a competitive salary ranging from 35000/- to 50000/- per month. The position is based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and it requires full-time commitment. Experience in the solar energy sector for at least 2 years is preferred. The job type is full-time and permanent.
