Sr. Planning Engineer

As a Sr. Planning Engineer in the Machine Manufacturing Industry, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Responsible for planning all types of machines, ensuring machine planning is done with the ERP system as per work order requirements. - Implement machine planning with inventory control to streamline operations in the machine and fabrication shop. - Maintain high quality of machines and components according to company standards. - Prepare costing sheets for individual machines and projects to analyze cost benefits and facilitate negotiation with vendors for better discounts. - Assign completion dates for each item on Bill of Materials (BOM) printouts and communicate the same for Job Cards, Indents, and Purchase printouts. - Develop and select vendors based on organizational requirements, negotiate with vendors based on technical details, and upgrade vendors for new technologies and changes. - Manage both imported and domestic vendors for machinery material, ensuring efficient procurement processes. - Oversee raw material planning and inventory control to support production requirements. - Coordinate spare material planning and inventory control to maintain uninterrupted operations.
