Job Description

We are hiring a Senior MERN Stack Developer with deep expertise in Next.js. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React (Next.js), and Node.js, focusing heavily on Next.js for frontend development and performance optimisation. Key Responsibilities:Build full-stack web applications using the MERN stack, with a frontend focus on Next.jsImplement SSR, SSG, and API routes for optimized performance and SEODesign and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Express.js and MongoDBWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code across the stackCollaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and product managersLead architecture decisions and mentor junior developers Requirements:4+ years of professional experience in web developmentStrong proficiency in Next.js and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React/Next.js, Node.js)Experience with SSR, SSG, and API route handling in Next.jsSolid understanding of database design, authentication, and backend integrationsFamiliarity with modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS) and Git-based workflows Nice to Have:Experience with headless CMSs or monorepos (Nx, Turborepo)Unit testing with Jest or React Testing LibraryDeployment knowledge using platforms like Vercel, Docker, or AWS Interested may rush your resume to silpa@webcastle.in
