Sr. Network Engineer- L2

As a Network Engineer - L2 Customer Support at Nexapp Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support to customers, ensuring the stability and performance of their network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing advanced technical support for network-related issues and escalating unresolved issues to the L3 support team. - Troubleshooting and resolving complex network problems involving LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security issues. - Monitoring network performance and proactively identifying potential issues. - Performing network upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. - Configuring and managing network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Collaborating closely with customers to understand their network requirements and offering appropriate solutions. - Documenting network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps. - Participating in on-call rotation and providing after-hours support as needed. - Assisting in the development and implementation of network policies and procedures. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering and customer support. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS. - Hands-on experience with network devices like Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and HP. - Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and network management software. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Relevant certifications like CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, Fortinet NSE are a plus.
