Job Description

We're looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Merchandiser to join our team, specializing in home furnishings for export markets. The ideal candidate will be a key player in driving sales growth , developing new business opportunities, and overseeing the entire production lifecycle from concept to shipment. Key Responsibilities: Sales Generation & Business Development: Actively identify and pursue opportunities to generate new sales and expand our customer base into untapped regions . This includes direct engagement with potential buyers and strategic market analysis. Product Development & Sampling: Spearhead the sample development process for home furnishings, collaborating closely with design, sampling, and production teams. Drive the creation of compelling samples for trade fairs and exhibitions to attract new business. Production & Order Management: Oversee the entire production process, including meticulous planning, efficient material procurement, and seamless coordination with the production department to ensure timely execution and shipment of all orders. Buyer & Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing buyers while actively engaging in new buyer/customer development . Employ strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms. Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear and concise verbal and written business communication with all stakeholders. Prepare comprehensive MIS reports and ensure accurate data entry and order approval within the ERP system. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure meticulous scrutiny and adherence to all export documentation requirements, facilitating smooth international trade. Exhibition & Trade Fair Coordination: Collaborate effectively with trade fair and exhibition organizers to maximize our presence and impact at key industry events. Qualifications: Diploma in Textiles with 4-6 years of relevant merchandising experience in home furnishings, with a strong preference for export market exposure and a proven track record in sales generation . Post-graduate qualification in Textiles is desirable. Proven working knowledge of production and sampling processes in home furnishings. Exceptional follow-up, negotiation, and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
