Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in the Beneficiation Plant. The role involves ensuring high equipment availability, implementing preventive maintenance, and driving process improvements to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in the beneficiation plant (crushers, screens, conveyors, thickeners, ball mills, slurry pumps, classifiers, flotation cells, filters, etc.).
• Prepare and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure smooth plant operation.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and provide quick, effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
• Ensure proper lubrication and spares management for critical machines.
• Prepare maintenance reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with operations, electrical, and instrumentation teams for plant efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory compliance.
• Guide, train, and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and fitters.
• Support project activities, modifications, and upgrades of beneficiation units.
• Contribute to cost reduction, energy saving, and equipment reliability improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of beneficiation / mineral processing plant equipment.
• Expertise in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience in pumps, thickeners, flotation equipment, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Good knowledge of TPM, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and predictive techniques.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with extensive experience may also be considered.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a beneficiation or mineral processing plant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
