Job Description

Responsible for driving network operations and maintenancein the respective areas of OSP Network/other domains with the objective ofminimizing downtime of network infrastructure, providing quality of network,resolving network issues, and cost effectively enhancing customer experience
The role will involve- planning and implementing network improvement projects,managing network operations, network analysis, bringing in process & costlevel improvements
This is a tactical role which has a significant mid-termimpact on the business units overall results
Responsibilities Leaddomain specific operations team to meet the uptime targets
Manage networkoperations and maintenance, this may include OSP cables, network equipments, facility, security operations for all sites and network
Ensuretimely identification & fixing of network failures, review repeat issues toensure permanent remedial actions are taken
Lead and drive operational reviewmeetings with vendors
Develop tactics for improving operation efficiencieswhile improving service levels, employee retention and operational costs
Managedifficult customer situations; respond promptly to customer needs; respond torequests for service and assistance
Desired Skill sets in operations andproject implementation of network technology
