Active Directory

• Deep knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID).
• Expertise in AD architecture and infrastructure (2019), including LDAP, directory replication, group policy, security, schema changes, etc.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, Kerberos, and Windows Authentication, including integration with other technologies for Single Sign-On.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Group Policy issues on local workstations and servers.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Familiarity with AzureAD and ADConnect tools.
• Skilled in troubleshooting ADFS and Certificate Services.
• Proven experience in AD management, including:
  • Architecting Group Policy
  • Integration of multiple AD domains
  • AD-integrated DNS
  • AD operational level upgrades
  • AD migrations
  • AD object automation with scripting
• Create and maintain AD environment management documentation as needed.
• Understanding of related technology areas such as NPS, DHCP, DNS, F5 Load Balancing, and AzureAD.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth transition of new applications, systems, and initiatives into the production environment relying on AD.
• Review and recommend improvements for the global AD infrastructure; research, plan, and execute migration to Server 2019 Domain Functional Level.

• Monitor server uptime and component status using SCOM agents.
• Manage hardware as required.
• Perform technical feasibility and proposal development for migrating workloads to Azure.
• Build technical and security architecture in Azure for selected applications and workloads.
• Lead compliance assessments with customers on Azure architecture.
• Lead migration approaches for lifting and shifting workloads to Azure or architecting new production platforms for new applications.
• Execute and support limited POCs as necessary.
• Drive the quality of onboarding plans with Microsoft Services or Partners.
• Document and share technical best practices and insights with product engineering and the global cloud architect community.
