Job Responsibilities

As the Senior Librarian, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience of our students and faculty. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing library operations, including cataloging, circulation, and inventory management.

- Curating and maintaining a diverse collection of print and digital resources that support the curriculum and student interests.

- Developing and implementing engaging library programs and activities that promote literacy and a love for reading.

- Providing research assistance and information literacy instruction to students and teachers.

- Collaborating with faculty to integrate library resources into classroom instruction.

- Supervising library staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

- Staying updated on emerging trends in library science and educational technology to enhance library services.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) or equivalent from an accredited institution.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a library setting, preferably in an educational environment.

- Strong knowledge of library management systems and digital resource platforms.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with students and educators.
