The Sr Lead Business Ops Manager will play a crucial role in delivering the operational plan for Security, Technology, Engineering, Product, and Networks (STEPNs) by enhancing team engagement, communication, and overall performance. Your responsibilities will involve managing intricate organizational and communication initiatives, identifying both risks and opportunities, and outlining clear deliverables that can influence leadership decisions and drive the evolution of the Lumen STEPN organization. Coordinating strategy, planning, and successful execution of key initiatives within the STEPN organization will be a key aspect of this role, which also includes overseeing business continuity, disaster recovery programs, and other critical operational functions. An ideal candidate for this position should possess a robust background in business operations, risk management, and IT policy development. You will be expected to create comprehensive presentations for executive leaders, including decks for town halls, board of director meetings, and other key events. Developing strategies and tactics that are in alignment with the business's strategic goals and objectives, evaluating and analyzing crucial STEPN data sets to derive actionable insights for leadership decision-making, building strong internal relationships across all organizational layers for a deeper understanding of needs, and managing special projects are among the main responsibilities associated with this role. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying, analyzing, documenting, and communicating process improvements, as well as consulting with middle and senior-level management on process enhancements. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Professional Consulting Level Bachelor's degree, typically accompanied by 8+ years of experience (or 6+ years of experience with a Master's degree). Experience in defining business problems, creating strategies, and executing programs that drive tangible business outcomes is essential. You should also have a proven track record in driving change management within large and complex organizations, as well as strong skills in business operations, risk management, and program management. Analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial, as you will be required to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are highly valued, along with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing and developing high-performing teams. Knowledge of the technology and security landscape, along with an understanding of industry trends and best practices, is beneficial. Strong project management skills are also required, including the ability to manage projects and programs within specified cost, time, and quality parameters. Preferred skills for this role include experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, familiarity with financial planning and budget management, strong organizational and time management abilities, and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
